Mark Finn Laboratory Installations is able to offer the total solution including a huge choice of colours for your laboratory. As we are able to offer the full service of building your laboratory you will need to make some choices for your preferred colour schemes.
We include decorating and floors in our service both of which require a colour choice. We also offer a wide range of colours for the laboratory doors and drawer fronts on the furniture we supply.
Furniture Fronts
Our laboratory furniture comes in a huge variety of colours
Choose the colour of your laboratory furniture cupboard and drawer fronts colours from a huge range.
Those cupboard and drawer have knock resistant edges which come in many. Choose from the picture colour swatch, a larger picture can be viewed by clicking the picture.
Edges
Our cupboard and drawer fronts are manufactured with 2mm PVC knock resistant edges which are available in many colours. Choose from the picture colour swatch. A larger picture can be obtained by clicking the picture.
Flooring
It is vital that you have the correct PVC flooring to compliment your new laboratory. Once in use cleanliness in a laboratory is a vital issue. There are many flooring manufacturers and we can use all materials as our clients specify
Choosing a type and colour for your flooring.
Our specialist flooring contractor will provide flooring you require. However you will need to choose the type of floor required, either Standard or Non Slip or Safety floor and the colour of the floor type you are choosing.
Skirting
Integral to laboratory cleanliness for is the choice of floor skirting. The skirting can help define where the floor ends and the wall begins. Skirting provide a neat, attractive join between the wall and the floor.
Skirting systems are available in three types, Sit-On, Welded, and Capped and Coved:
- Sit-On (not suitable for medical or health care installations) are adhered to the wall only and not sealed to the floor
- Fully welded inset skirting are adhered to the wall and sub floor and fully welded to the new sheet flooring. This system is suitable for areas where hygiene is a priority
- Capped and Coved Hospital type skirting - vinyl floor sheet is turned up the wall by forming 38mm supported coved radius at the wall & floor abutment for ease of cleaning and then capped (approx. 100mm up the wall) with a wall abutment capping piece. This system guarantees less floor welds and therefore less possibility of crevices that can harbour harmful bacteria
Walls & Ceilings
Wall and ceiling finishes can be either be required to be purely aesthetic or in many cases (health and manufacturing areas) need be a planned integral part of the laboratory system.
What ever your requirement is the basic standard finish needs to be
- Crevice free
- Easily cleanable
In order to facilitate your requirements Mark Finn Laboratory installations offer the following options
- Redecoration of existing walls and ceilings
- Over cladding existing walls and ceilings
- New partitions and ceilings
To allow you to complete your new laboratory in style you could choose from the rich colours on offer to through the Dulux paint range.
Alternatively you may have specialised requirements - examples – may include areas of High humidity- Surgical areas – Manufacturing – High traffic areas. We can supply wall coverings that are impervious to bacteria.
Partitions and Wall cladding can also be finished in laminate
Sterile Areas
Walls and Ceilings in Sterile areas can be completed with products as offered in the Poly clad range where the floor - wall & ceiling are covered in a fully welded continuous vinyl sheet
Ceilings can be either solid or suspended with a variety of materials available.
