Our Laboratory Tables feature frames made from high-quality kite marked steel, measuring 40mm x 40mm. The welded joints of the frame are three times stronger than the steel itself, ensuring exceptional durability. To achieve a long-lasting finish that surpasses conventional paints in crack, chip, and peel resistance, the frame undergoes sand blasting and heat-based painting (powder coating). Clients can have peace of mind knowing that the entire frame is supported by 8mm inset welded foot plates, meticulously flow drilled and tapped to accommodate 12mm levelling feet. Our standard worktops consist of 16mm Trespa BASE, formerly known as Athlon. However, we also have the option to supply 20mm BASE or a combination of 16mm and 20mm Trespa TopLab PLUS upon request. Please note that the maximum length for a single piece of worktop is either 2500mm or 3000mm, depending on the optimal material usage. Should you require longer worktops, we can provide biscuit joints to seamlessly connect multiple sections on-site. Additionally, if you opt for a supply-only contract, we will include biscuit joints for convenient installation by your fitters. It's important to mention that these joints adhere to clean room standards.

For support, our worktops are held by sturdy 40 x 40mm section powder-coated steel support bench frames. These frames are specifically designed to bear equal loads of up to 750KG, which is an industry standard not commonly offered by our competitors. Since our frames are customizable, we can tailor our systems to meet your specific requirements. They can be either stationary, supported by feet, or mobile, equipped with wheels. If you can envision it, we have the capability to create it. We currently have a selection of Lab Benches available for purchase.

Frame Details

Our Laboratory Table frames are manufactured from 40x40mm kite-marked steel. The welded joint are typically three times stronger than the actual steel. The frame is sandblasted and painted under heat to ensure a tough lasting finish which will not crack, chip or peel like conventional paints. To ensure the client’s peace of mind the whole frame is supported on 8mm inset welded foot plates which are flow drilled and tapped to accept 12mm levelling feet complete with a unique 40mm locking nut. All these factors make our Lab Benches on the market today.

Standard Frame Colours
The standard final coating is high gloss but other finishes can be supplied as required. Our standard lab bench frame colours are:

  • White: RAL 9010

  • Light Grey: RAL 7035

  • Black

All RAL colours are available but non-standard colours carry an extra charge of £50.00 per order ​
